Tomi – Hen’s picnic

2

On the day when St Kilda was up on the re-match final, I was walking down Fitzroy Street towards the beach, with my camera gear down my shoulder. There are balloons of red, white and black everywhere. I was on my way to the grass field by the sea baths, to photograph a picnic Tomi was holding on her hen’s day. There was not a cloud in the sky, and it seemed to be telling us that the winter was over.

(Update 3 Oct – I’ve replaced all photos with a larger copy. Click images in the page to view it at large size. If you find any issue such as broken link, please let me know. Enjoy!)

The sun meant a little harsh shadows. So I took some girls aside into the shade and made some portrait shots. Aren’t these girls looking gorgeous!!

When everyone’s nicely lined up, there is always somebody who is out of sync…

And she’d come down while others are in the air 🙂

OK. Let’s sync again. Is it ‘on 3’ or ‘after 3’?
Does that remind you of some movie like it did me then?

1, 2, and jump on 3, or 1, 2, 3… and jump?

32

OK. Here we go again! 1, 2…

33

Jump!

And that’s a wrap!!

It was fun ladies (and a gentleman)!

I’ll see you at the wedding on Sunday next week. I won’t be photographing but attending as a friend of the groom.

    1. I got home when the 3rd quarter was still being played. The traffic was a breeze. Pleasure photographing you girls!
